For me, clear, direct, thorough communication is very important and I’m very
good at it. I’m communicating with all parties involved from the beginning of the whole process. I not only confirm all of the details on the transport with everyone as soon as I have flight information but am also good at asking necessary questions and giving the necessary information to make the whole process as smooth and stress free as possible. I can only imagine how nerve racking it can be to trust a complete stranger with someone’s furry baby. So, I do everything I can to make sure people feel comfortable and are clear on the whole process. I’m a warm person and I use a lot of humor and I think my deep love for animals really comes through to my clients. I start updating them about flight status and getting the client excited about their baby coming home several days before the flight and throughout transport day. I love sending pictures of the pet and sharing cute and funny stories about their pet’s behavior and cuteness during transport day! I usually text with clients but am also very open to phone conversations, especially in those initial stages to make sure they get a sense of my personality, professionalism and care and feel comfortable with me. I had a client that didn’t really know how to text so during transport day, I reached out via email and phone calls to keep her updated. She was very grateful at my willingness to work within what she called her “limitations”. I told her that it was no trouble at all nor was it
a limitation as phone calls are so much more pleasant and that I would do
whatever made her the most comfortable.

I’ve kept my fee rather low for the industry because I’m not trying to get rich, I truly love all animals and gain tremendous value by being around them.
